Assassin's Creed Brotherhood - 100% Playthrough - Main Story - Part 8 of 11
The saga continues. This is the middle part of the Ezio Auditore trilogy, now transposing the action into renaissance Rome, taking place a short while after the events of the first game in the trilogy.
The game adds in a few things over Assassin's Creed II, by having assassin recruits to send out to get items and money, having missions for the game's different factions and adding in guild challenges, to add it new ways of playing around in the game. There's actually more than just that, but I'll let you explore my videos to figure out what else has been added.
I prefer Assassin's Creed II to this one, however, and I go over the main reasons in my final thoughts in part 11. For now, I'll just say the devs added a lot of new parts to this game over Assassin's Creed II, so there's more moving parts to creak and unfortunately not everythings works like a well-oiled machine.
These are small complaints, though, as the game is very fun and a joy to play through. Rome, in particular, is fantastic. The level of care and detail that went into creating this romanticised version of 16th-century Rome shows through; I enjoyed just running around this city, looking around and marveling at how accurate this would have been (I'm guessing not very, but still fun to imagine).
The jank present in the previous game returns, for better or for worse. I will say I did laugh a lot at the AI and physics, once again. These do frustrate occasionally, but it wouldn't be an Assassin's Creed game without some jank and some bugs.
Overall, a great game and I hope you enjoy my playthrough as much as I did.
