The Head of the Snake:
Basim’s quest leads him to the Palace of the Green Dome, where he confronts Al-Bahamut, the leader of the Order in Baghdad.
Shockingly, Al-Bahamut is revealed to be Qabiha, the concubine of the Caliph who was killed during the prologue.
Qabiha has been hunting Basim, knowing that he is connected to the Isu, an ancient civilization that predates humanity.
She promises Basim answers about his identity in a secret chamber beneath the Hidden Ones’ temple of Alamut.
However, before she can reveal more, she is assassinated by Roshan, a master assassin who warns Basim against seeking answers.
The Isu Chamber:
Undeterred, Basim and Nehal journey to Alamut. There, Basim discovers a technologically advanced vault door.
Inside, he finds a prison with a sarcophagus at its center.
To his astonishment, the sarcophagus contains none other than Nehal—but there’s a twist.
Nehal is revealed to be an aspect of Basim’s personality, an imaginary friend who mirrors his actions.

This revelation connects Mirage to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, where we learned that Basim is the reincarnation of Loki.

Interestingly, Assassin’s Creed Mirage does not feature any present-day storylines.
