Assassin's Creed Origins - The New Kid In Town - Side Quest Walkthrough
This is a complete walkthrough of the Assassin's Creed Origins Side Quest, The New Kid In Town. While in Letopolis Bayek stops to listen to Ramessu recruit citizens by offering them a free house if they dig it out of the sand and help with the public works! Bayek speaks with Ramessu who tries to convince him to accept a house and is asked to speak to with one of Letopolis' new inhabitants, Nehi. Bayek listens to Nehi cry about losing his farm in Yamu and his oxen being stuck in a ditch out of town. He had to flee and abandoned them after he heard roaring in the night. Bayek heads out to investigate and retrieve the Nehis' Oxen and Cart. The Cart and Oxen are located in some ruins just west of Letopolis. There are Bandits and Lions waiting to ambush Bayek as soon as he approaches, stealth is not available for this Side Quest but you can make a sneak attack from a distance. There is random loot along with a Treasure chest in the south western most building. After returning the cart Nehi, Bayek investigates strange Hieroglyphs inside Nehi's new home. Nehi tells Bayek that other people in Letopolis have found similar markings in their homes and suggests Bayek speak with Ramessu to find out more. After speaking with Ramessu and several other townspeople Bayek gets enough information from the Hieroglyphs to piece together a Prophetic Message, " If your feet are firm in Letopolis, look west to the pyramids. Within the golden dunes lies the Temple of a Million Years, guarded by stone lionesses. Bayek follows the clues from the prophetic message in the Hieroglyphs and explores the region to the west of Letopolis to discover and investigate the buried Temple of a Million Years to find the connection between the old temple and Letopolis. The Suggested level for this Side Quest is 18 and the reward is 1,500XP.
