The grand finale boss battle against Crawford Starrick, in which the player is at last controlling both Jacob and Evie. For this series of cues, I decided to write what is almost like a mini concerto, featuring the piano front and center for the first time in the score. Flanked by both Sandy Cameron's violin solos and Tina Guo's cello solos, the piano sessions were absolutely thrilling. Iain Farrington had had a chance to look over the music for a day or two (a rarity in scoring sessions!) and it was noteworthy that during recording HE NEVER MISSED A SINGLE NOTE. Not one error!
