3This Assassin's Creed Valhalla game guide video shows how to defeat Ivarr the Boneless in a boss fight. The boss battle takes place during the King Killer main quest in the Sciropescire region.
Ivarr has an unusual move pattern. He'll dodge your standard attacks by leaning back (a lot) and then he'll initiate one of his attacks. Dodge or parry that attack (only if it's an orange one) and then use the opportunity to score a few hits. You can also rely on offensive abilities, like Dive of the Valkyries in our video. Make sure to dodge as many of Ivarr's red attacks are possible, because they can be strong - for example he can throw Eivor (like in our video) or stab him.
Ivarr will try to trick you by stopping the fight later on. Try to mash the button to pick the dodge action as soon as it appears in order to prevent Ivarr from scoring a cheap shot. You won't lose if you fail, but you'll receive extra damage.
