A completely unscientific comparison video of Assassin's Creed Valhalla running on the Xbox One launch model, the Xbox One X, the Xbox Series X and a high-end gaming rig (including load times from the title menu to actual gameplay). All versions are perfectly playable, but the load times on the Xbox One launch model as well as the Xbox One X are pretty rough. The PC version is obviously the most advanced and flexible of them all, but the Xbox Series X delivers great visuals and rock-solid performance without needing to fiddle with any settings. I also appreciate being able to play pretty open world games like this on my 4K TV with HDR enabled (which is possible with the PC but never quite as plug-and-play as it should be), since my current computer setup only includes a regular IPS panel and also runs in 1440p.
