Kunos have just confirmed that Assetto Corsa Competizione won't have matchmaking at launch. In this video, we explain why this problematic for a modern competitive racing title and also explain why kunos have maybe made the decision that they have.

Though I'm disappointed as we cover in the video ACC is still likely well worth getting and kunos can still design things such that high-quality racing can still be achieved for most users.

I do think however that by not having match making ACC will likely be popular at launch but quickly die out in popularity as people go back to GT-sport - iRacing and the depth of content on AC.
