When scientists make assumptions in their testing, it allows them to game or create the results that they desire. The same is done with surveys, tests and polls, where they ask the people who they determine are likely to give their desired answer.

I am not claiming that each and every assumption is invalid. However, one must look at the assumptions and see if they are sound. If they are not sound, and are given as "proof", then you can deduce that the scientist has let bias into his conclusions.
