Astaroth vs Astaroth - Soul Calibur VI
2Time for a whoopin'. Got some good moves beaten into me by this higher ranked Astaroth.
The idea to punish that spin with the overhead was a good idea, but the thought to execution had too much of a delay (1:03). Every Astaroth player out there loves this 2B+K, G+A bounce throw combo (1:40). Not really utilizing "smart" movement, but I'm glad I didn't just rush in (1:50).
So that 214A spin is safe against the Reversal Edge, does that mean it's also safe on block? (2:39). I forget about that ground throw (2:54).
I think against the high level players, Astaroth's Critical Edge is just too useless (3:26)-- too long of a startup and it doesn't reach that far. It can even get interrupted (3:36).
Falcon Punch effect, just standing there watching in awe (6:19). Yay took a round (6:55).
I think this was the biggest learning moment from the set-- when an opponent is wall splatted and sliding down, you can low throw (7:37).
Thought I was going to at least survive to zero, but naw (9:25). Chest bump interrupt (9:48).
