Ready to battle in your Xbreed Mecha an alien race that has decided to wipe out humanity.

Super Aleste (Space MegaForce in NA), Ikaruga, Dariusburst (Pyramid Software Studio) and Space Harrier in a Dreamcast and far from the Cave's bullet-dodging standards

Camera alternate between vertical/horizontal scrolling and rail-shooter perspectives(Space Harrier) in a perfect 2.5D visual with an anime style.

Simple at first view, to appreciate Astebreed at its true value,
you must master the combat system: ranged, melee(with a blade), dash, trigger special (Ex Attack), know the colour-coded enemy bullets...
It is by scoring that all the salt of the game is revealed

The weak point is the OST,but the Chars are very talkative, so with the animated style the immersion is total
