Astlibra Revision: Anulis Memory Scenes
1Uploading this video a bit early to help some people out if they have questions.
These scenes provide more backstory for Lilica aka Anulis and you need to use the love heart crystals to help her regain her memories. I've seen different reports give conflicting information for how many you need so.
You need 5 hearts to restore her memories of her life as Lilica
You need 13 hearts to restore all of her memories and confess to her to get the true ending
You need 14 hearts for her to join the Guild and unlock the final weapon.
So how do you get hearts? Well there's 3 that can obtained during the main story of Astlibra. All 3 are missable
The first crystal is obtained in chapter 4 when giving the medicine to Kuro. Don't waste time looking for a mortar and pestle to save her chew them up and do mouth to mouth yourself.
The second crystal is obtained in chapter 5 and requires Shiro surviving the chapter. I've talked about this in an earlier video but in short when she asks to come with you initially say no then once Gau joins up go back and tell her to follow you now that it's "safe" you'll have to fight the secret boss Marionette.
The third crystal is obtained during the end of chapter 7 when rispadar is overrun by demons. There are 3 demons being held off by the bakers daughter on the other side of the barrier. You need either the weapon throw ability to a wand that can fire past the barrier and you'll have to kill them. Then talk to her for the crystal.
Then there are 11 that can be obtained during the revision storyline. These are not missable but make a backup save before the final boss if you want to see the different endings.
The first is by completing the arena and beating the superboss which I won't spoil.
The remaining 10 are obtained by maxing out your affinity with all 5 party members during the end of the game. I recommend running through the Gaia depths with them so you'll get some good items and level ups while you go. Each party member can give you two love hearts.
To clarify that means max affinity with
Gau
Kuro
Polin
Shiro (either form works it doesn't matter)
and Kai
Lastly an unlimited number of crystals can be obtained from chests after you complete a level of the gaia depths. They are random chance but don't worry you're not screwed out of the true ending or ultimate weapon just because you missed something. That being said the drop rate seems to have varying chances depending on the tier of the chest so it may take a few runs but hey you'll want to do that anyways to build up affinity and gain levels.
