A parry master will win without issue but this guy can two hit you and is a massive optional challenge for new players. The big thing about the black knight to watch out for is his thrusting attack as he will use it to catch you when you try to heal. It's kind of tradition that each souls game has some sort of early game knight that can wreck your ass (elden ring took it even farther making crucible knight his own two stage boss)
