ASTRO BOT π€ I am a FAILURE at this!! πͺ GREAT MASTER CHALLENGE - 30 more failed attempts!
0I think it may be time to turn in my "Gamer Card". I've been gaming for the better part of 45 years now, (I turned 52 last week) and I don't think I have what it takes anymore.
This stage likely wouldn't stopped a younger me, but I think I've met my match here! π₯ As Danny Glover said in Lethal Weapon, "I'm getting too old for this 5H1t". I could feel my heart pounding out of my chest while playing the "TO THE BEAT" challenge level, but after many fails I finally got it, but The Great Master challenge level just seems out of reach for me.
I must have played this same level SIXTY FIVE TIMES now!!! I've gotten close, right up to the last couple of bird robot missiles, but I just lose my cool, and screw up the jump, timing, aim, whatever. I'm not even sure what else I do differently. One thing that keeps bugging me is how my thumb is starting to ache from holding it up for most of the run. I feel I may benefit from some type of analog stick nub cover. Then I wouldn't have to keep readjusting my thumb on the left analog stick.
This is the very last stage/bot I need to finish in order to π―Astro Bot and get the Platinum π. This would make my 30th platinum. So I'd really like to get it! I haven't given up just yet, but I'm honestly not sure how much more I've got here! -MRH
