Astroneer Playthrough Ep 2 - Powering Your Base
15Hi there folks. Ducky Obrien here and this is a new play through series on Astroneer. Shoutout to penguin 57 halo.
I had a technical issue with OBS where I lost a rather large chunk of the episode so I recorded more! Today we start off by figuring out how to power a new base. Here are my recommendations:
1. Start off by using Small Generators (made from one Compound on your Backpack).
2. Place Small Generators on a platform and fill the rest of the slots with Organic or Organic on Medium Storage Trays.
3. The Organic will autoload onto active Small Generators so you don't have to constantly refuel them.
4. Unlock the Large Platform B as early as possible. This is the best platform to start out with.
5. Unlock Small Wind Turbines to help power your base.
6. Aim for Small Solar Cells (made from one Copper, found on mountains).
