Asura's Wrath (アスラズ ラース Asurazu Rāsu?) is an action video game collaboration between CyberConnect2 and Capcom that was first announced at the Tokyo Game Show in 2010. It was developed to be released in Japan, North America, and Europe for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It was released on February 21, 2012 in North America and February 24, 2012 in Europe. According to the game's producer Kazuhiro Tsuchiya, "Asura's Wrath takes elements from Hindu mythology and blends them with science fiction. In the game, Asura is a demigod fighting to reclaim his daughter from the deities who kidnapped her and banished him from the mortal world."

Asura is one of the Eight Guardian Generals - a group of eight demigods devoted to protecting humanity and leading them to victory against their ancient enemy the Gohma. After successfully subduing the Gohma Vlitra (the single most powerful of all the Gohma) Asura is framed for a crime he did not commit, resulting in the death of his wife and the kidnapping of his daughter Mithra. To make things slightly worse, Asura is himself killed by Deus. 12,000 years later, Asura comes back from the dead, fuelled by the power of his own rage at those who have wronged him. Looking to gain revenge on those who betrayed him and to rescue his daughter, Asura sets out to track down his former Guardian General comrades, now calling themselves the Seven Deities.
