Highlights/low lights for me included:

Underlighting around the bottom and sides
LED backlit numpad on trackpad
Carbon fibre look styling
Brushed aluminum style on the outside
Weird USB port layout (on one side)
HDMI output in the rear, but do DisplayPort or Mini.
Feels quite weighty but with a premium design that makes it feel well built
Around 4 hours standard browser and office use
On-the-fly fan speed adjustment, Aura backlighting mode, brightness and media keys.
Dongle (keystone) for private settings and "shadow drive"
Large main hard drive (1TB)
32GB of ram
Some issues with randomly dropping frames during gaming on lower fans speeds - if you want good performance, you need loud fans, at least when playing on your lap.
Nice bright lightbar gives cool underlighting at night which reminds us of the old days when street racers loved a bit of mood lighting on their cars
Lighting includes the ROG logo on the rear that changes colour too.
There's a DARK mode for lighting if you want something more subtle
Doesn't appear to be a way to individually edit the lighting in terms of the logo but you can tweak lighting settings in Aura sync.
Randomly gets louder during the day, even under mild office use.
NVMe slot (UPGRADABLE) but no spare
Dim screen on max brightness
LOUD speakers under heavy load
Managed over 200 FPS on CS:GO with settings on Max
Can output to larger screen but fps drop. Got around 60fps in some games and not much higher. Also recording with obs while doing that basically half's fps and makes the game much choppier, which is surprising considering the power in the machine. However, recording while gaming on the laptop (not outputting to another screen) didn't seem to have a negative performance impact.
Defo a drop in performance when not running fans on turbo.
Armoury crate app allows you to do certain things remotely on your phone - like adjusting fan speed, screen visuals and monitoring performance but no controls for RGB backlighting weirdly
Fan noise gets fairly obnoxiously loud a lot of the time making a headset necessary but the mic is good enough and doesn't seem to pick up that noise and transmit to friends
