I think the CPU and GPU temps are fairly similar. In game, the CPU is easily running 185-190 F. Which isn't a problem until necessarily until you see what the temps are on the fan egress. The ASUS air flow is out the sides, whereas the Dell air flow is out of the rear. The ASUS side flow will heat up your mouse hand if your hand is close enough. Both laptops have incredible temps on the surface of the laptop around the F-keys and even near the ASDW keys which you'll be using often during game play.

The ambient temperature during testing was roughly 79 F.

I also did a quick compare of the audio of the ASUS, which is FAR superior to the Dell G series laptop. Like so much so, that even my iPhone mic picked up the differences. Be sure to toggle back and forth between the example to hear the difference.
