At What Point Does Mojang Make 'Minecraft 2'? - An Analysis of Major Changes Over Time
5Hello and welcome to the video! Today, I will be defining some things I have found and thought of with a lot of major updates for Minecraft in recent years, discussing a line where division could possibly happen to warrant a sequel. Though I do believe in the game, and the seemingly amazing ability of the player base to adapt to changes constantly, I do find a problem with removing things that were "standard" or unchanged for a long time. Things like the combat system, the Nether, and of course, the Caves and Cliffs world generation, which were all long-standing without change for a long time, all have seen changes that make the game far different from what it once was. I do firmly believe that the game is, and will continue, moving away from what some might call "Classic Minecraft", which begs the question if there should be a dividing line of what is considered "classic" and what we get moving forward.
