9In which I take a few runs at "Cavelord" by Peter Finzel, originally written in German, but translated to English in the version I've chosen to play. That's because I don't read German! I also don't speak German! I mean, I can order beer, do some counting, and understand a few words, but that's not exactly speaking a language, is it?
Back to the game. It's really nicely done, graphically, with animated water, plants, and other game elements. Sound effects are pretty good, matching up well with the game play. However, this is a tough game. Either that, or I'm really poor at it. I suppose both are plausible. When I took a run at it on 'Cavelord' difficulty, I lasted about 15 seconds the first time, and about 45 the second time!
