In which I play the game "Kangaroo" from 1982, published by the APX. It's a decent port of the arcade game, with at least four distinct levels. Rescue the young kangaroo who is apparently being held captive by the stone-throwing monkeys. I notice there is some sprite trickery going on to give the appearance of two coloured sprites - you can see it in the screenshot. There is a sort of full monkey shape in red, replaced rapidly with a not-quite full monkey grey overlay. It gives them the appearance of having red muzzles, hands, and feet!
