6In which I play "Communist Mutants from Space", a 1982 game by Arcadia for their expansion peripheral the "Starpath Supercharger". The supercharger added a ton of RAM to the system (relatively speaking) which enabled better graphics and more complex game play.
Shoot the mother alien and her eggs while avoiding the mutants that hatch out of the eggs. You've got to tag the mother before you can finish a wave as she continually replenishes the eggs. The graphics are a distinct step up from the base 2600 system, but the sounds are nothing special.
