In which I play "RealSports Soccer", published by Atari in 1983, and programmed by John Seghers. This is a decent soccer (football) game, but it isn't stellar. The player behaviour, of the players not directly controlled by you, the holder of the joystick, is not even remotely realistic. Nobody tries to get open. Nobody tries to receive a throw-in. Nobody is running the right way most of the time. I could go on.

The animation of the footballers and the ball are quite good. Sound effects are adequate.

There is a bit of fun to be had here, but if you are expecting it to play like an actual soccer game, you'll be let down.
