9In which I play "Who Dares Wins II", published in 1987 by Tynesoft, and programmed by Brian Jobling. This is a pretty good game. It's a vertically scrolling combat game along the lines of Commando or Mercs. It is pretty difficult, but it also feels like a player could improve at it with practice. The colour palette is strangely muddy, and enemy bullets can be quite difficult to see.
