"RITFF is a typical game of the platformer genre and is based on the Atari XL game "Mr Robot and his Robot Factory". To be more precise: it is an almost identical copy. I have the part together with two friends some Programmed years ago and finally found it again while cleaning up my disk. Since I think it's a bit of a shame to let the game rot in some dusty subdirectory, I've decided to just put it in the mouse network. Well... here it is!

A joystick is required to play!
RITFF runs in both the low and high ST resolutions (320x200 or 640x400). Of course, everything looks much better in color.

Unfortunately, the quartet sound playback routine crashes on a Falcon.
In order for the game to run anyway, simply copy the ROBERT_0.DAT file to the
folder ROBERT.DAT be renamed (to something else). This means that you do without the title music, but the rest works perfectly. However, I did not manage to get the program to work in ST High. You can not have everything...

On a TT the sound sounds pretty awful! Is just written for the Yamaha sound chip. It's best to switch it off completely or at least turn it down.

In different levels Astronaut Robert has to run over all platforms and collect the white dots embedded in the ground. Some mean
Flames, which you must not touch under any circumstances, want to prevent him.
However, if Robert grabs a protective shield (small blue flashing
object), he is immune to the flames for a few seconds and can even destroy them if touched.

In the course of the game, the scenario becomes more and more complex: conveyor belts,
Ladders, teleporters, springboards and slides don't make things any easier for Robert. The meanest are the bombs: you can walk over them, but they'll set things off, and you better get out before the bombs go off...

Of course, the whole thing takes time so that it doesn't get boring.

When all levels have been mastered and exhausted, you can use the built-in level editor to design and save new ones and thus build up entire level libraries. However, the standard levels are not editable (otherwise the incentive to fight through to the last level would be gone)."
