It came in like a lion and left like a lamb. The #Atari5200 #SuperSystem was lauded as the 'next best thing,' but in fact, was cancelled in 1984 to make way for the #Atari7800, which did not appear on store shelves until two full years later. There are only a handful of #commercials & #videos for the #5200, but I gather most of them here... From the #SeasonsGreetings videos to the #game #commercials for titles such as #Joust, #Pacman, #PolePosition, #Centipede, #Kangaroo, #JungleHunt, #StarWars #TheArcadeGame & more! It'll take you back to 1984.
