206It's not every week we feature an unreleased prototype arcade video game on Unported Playlist...but this week that's exactly what we have; Tenth Degree from Atari! It's one part Tekken and one part Street Fighter EX...which makes sense since apparently this was made by ex-Capcom developers that worked on the EX series! It's your typical 3D fighting game...except it was never finished. Retro gaming is filled with unreleased prototypes...but on the arcade game side...not so much!

On this episode we are looking at Tenth Degree, an unreleased fighting game from Atari from around the same time period as their hit arcade racing game San Francisco Rush! For what is here...it's a decently competent 3D vs fighting video game! It has the speed of Tekken with the feel and move set of the Street Fighter franchise from Capcom! It's a bummer it was never finished...but it's awesome we can use MAME to check out the unreleased beta version of this awesome retrogaming obscurity! It's definitely a barely talked about rare video game that's for sure!
