welcome to my first Atlas build FORT GRIM, first off the building mechanics are great it's like they took the best of castle keeps mod S+ and Medieval structures and brought them all to Atlas.
It makes seance those mods showed how good the building system could be, also the cool thing about this game is actual fort and castle designs will be effective in repelling assaults.
Castles had entrances that were hell to enter for an invading army but were often seen as the best route in. You want your men going in on mass and overwhelming the defenders, smashing down the gates and rushing in was the fastest way to end a siege.
Cannons and gunpowder put an end to the medieval era of castles but the designs are still effective against infantry and small raiding parties. You want to make the assault so daunting that most enemies will think twice.
Now my server is up and running, there are plans to have it as part of a cluster. I am joining up with jade plays games TLC138 and GG Fizz and it looks like I am having my map as the creative corner of the world.
There are going to be pvp zones and such, I think it will be a cool place to record content for the channel and not get wrecked by the chines halfway through a video :)
