Moshman gives his thoughts on atlas so far and the negativity surrounding the game, as well as trying to get started in the new world!
Some thoughts below.

🤘First impression🤘

So lets be honest there is some massive issues so far (Positive thoughts further down i promise), when i first started for example on an official server it was IMPOSSIBLE to even move in the free ports (The recommended and protected start area) let alone leave them, so of course it was very very frustrating.
This was not helped by the unbelievable amount of bodies asleep (logged out players) in the spawn area which was most likely one of the main causes with the issue and making it worse as time went on.
Once you managed to get put of the area the rubber banding was actually hilarious even the creatures were rubber banding so at this point i decided to call it quits for a few hours.
when i returned there had been a very welcome patch which seemed to have quickly addressed many issues including the rubber banding.
I killed my character and started again which is where the video continues from.
Of course there was the added problem of the spawn points not working correctly and dropping you in the sea!! but im sure that will be fixed asap 😂🤘


🤘The Bright Side🤘

This games potential is insane!! DO NOT BE PUT OFF by the negativity so far!....its early access there will be issues all games have them, you will for sure miss out if you decide not to get it because of the teething problems, if you like survival and mmo games with the added bonus of PIRATES!!! and who doesnt? then you will love this game.
I cant wait to see how it improves and to be sailing the oceans, killing bosses, raiding and claiming land and of course hunting for buried treasure.
The world is of epic proportions and the scenery is amazing as you would expect, and yes it is very ....Ark like, but is that a bad thing?
i dont understand people complaining about this, ark is amazing why would you be annoyed that another game on a much much bigger scale looks like ark?
Gameplay wise again very ark like for the most part especially what little i have experienced so far but again im happy with that familiarity, i do like the addition of having to dig for water and not being able to just drink salt water as well, but later on once you get set up and have a boat and a crew and are doing QUESTS! im sure it will take on its OWN feeling.
