After leveling up to 20 by grinding the caravan guarding mission from Peregon to KRZ I got wild money and gear, lots of super stims and the best armors in the game. Not to mention not one but TWO heavy Machine guns.

You can rest at the pit stop in Peregon for 12 hrs at a time and up to 2 traders can appear, I got most my gear from them and from the armor/gun traders in KGZ.

Unfortunately Fidel got all pissy because we killed a citizen of his hometown and he had to die, although I think that if I had gone straight for the elevator in my first turn, Fidel would have made it into the bunker.

I did this just to see if I could end the game without finding any of the other missing expeditions in Dead City and Mountain Pass, although I did go to the pass to get XP, chitin and the VER rifle.

In hindsight, I should have opened the inventory and healed everyone from there instead of using it manually like I did. Its a stupid cheap trick that could have made this easier.
