Attempting to Make Halloween Treats! | Cooking with Alice
10"Tis the season to be spooky and I took on some supposedly easy Halloween baked goods. Come hang out with me as we cause chaos in the kitchen trying to make some sweet treats!
Jack-o-Lantern Chocolate Orange Cake
4 large oranges
7 tbsp self-raising flour
5 tbsp caster sugar
1 tbsp coco powder
3 tbsp sunflower oil
1 medium egg
Spiced Apple Doughnuts
200g plain flour
50g cornflour
1/2 tsp baking powder
4 tbsp caster sugar (1 for recipe, 3 for decoration)
1 medium egg
250-300ml apple cider/sparkling apple juice
sunflower oil for frying
3 Rubens Apples, cored and sliced into rings
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Caramel Sauce (not made in the video)
30g unsalted butter
50g light brown sugar
125ml whipping cream
