Got a request to play this track, and though I'm fairly sure it was tongue-in-cheek (every other one of my videos is Audiosurf with a song by Random, I'd make fun of me too), I figured I'd do it anyway.
The funny business with the horizon at the beginning is from the bankcam tag; I'd just restarted the song after hitting a grey block during an unsuccessful run, and since the camera was in the middle of a roll at the time, it had to untwist itself at the start of this video. I added the tag in the first place since the song itself is very low traffic, and should be more exciting this way.
I used Fraps 3.2.2 for this, and in my infinite wisdom decided to try out the unlocked framerate thing. Recorded at 60fps, while allowing the game to run a bit more smoothly so I could play better. It really wasn't worth it, as the audio track was not only 250ms behind the video, it had a strange burst (a section of the song) at the beginning of the recording. It was easy enough to trim the glitch at the start, but t was a bigger pain in the ass than you'd think to get the right shift necessary to correct the sync. I think it worked out all right, but I'm going to stick with locked framerate, 90fps recording from now on.
