By watching along with this hotly-anticipated follow-up to Nintendo’s smash hit, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, you can get German exposure, learn new words, encounter new grammatical constructions, improve your ability to understand both written and spoken German, and even improve your pronunciation.
In this blind playthrough, we’re sure to make some mistakes, both in terms of gameplay and in terms of language, and that’s okay. What matters is that we keep going and keep smiling. The only tears here will be the titular Tears of the Kingdom. 😊 In the end, if we keep at it, we’ll learn both how to beat the game and how to improve our German a little bit more. Learning German is like a game, and today the game is The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (Breath of the Wild 2 German)!

Information about The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (German)/Breath of the Wild 2 (German)
As one of Nintendo’s most popular and long-running series, The Legend of Zelda hardly needs to be introduced. The series has produced critically-acclaimed and fan-beloved games on just about every platform Nintendo has ever released (and a couple of truly awful games on the Phillips-CDI, but we won’t talk about those).
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom may need slightly more introduction, but if so, only barely. After the runaway success of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, it didn’t take long for Nintendo to announce a sequel. However, Nintendo didn’t share the title of the sequel for quite a while, leading many people to think of the game merely as Breath of the Wild 2 (this is also one of the reasons why I’m also writing Breath of the Wild 2 German in my description as a blatant way of trying to catch errant searches).
Because this is a blind playthrough, I can’t say much about the story or world in advance, merely that I am incredibly stoked to be playing this game. I’m a big fan of the Zelda series as a whole, and Breath of the Wild in specific was an amazing installment.
I hope you enjoy watching my German/English Let’s play Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom as much as I enjoy making it. I play a lot of old retro games on this channel, but this one is brand new. If you like my Let’s Play, I hope that you will buy Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and support its creators!
