DOTA Auto Chess is a strategy video game mod for the video game Dota2. Developed by Drodo Studio and released in January 2019, the game features elements of chess and supports up to eight players. The popularity of the mod, with its having over eight million players by May 2019, led to the creation of the auto battler genre that had a number of other games being released. Later in 2019, Drodo Studio developed a standalone version known simply as Auto Chess, while Valve, the developer of Dota 2, developed their own standalone version known as Dota Underlords.

Το DOTA Auto Chess είναι ένα παιχνίδι στρατηγικής για βιντεοπαιχνίδια Dota2. Αναπτύχθηκε από το Drodo Studio και κυκλοφόρησε τον Ιανουάριο του 2019, το παιχνίδι διαθέτει στοιχεία σκακιού και υποστηρίζει έως και οκτώ παίκτες. Η δημοτικότητα του mod, με το να έχει πάνω από οκτώ εκατομμύρια παίκτες μέχρι τον Μάιο του 2019, οδήγησε στη δημιουργία του είδους auto battler που είχε κυκλοφορήσει πολλά άλλα παιχνίδια. Αργότερα το 2019, το Drodo Studio ανέπτυξε μια αυτόνομη έκδοση γνωστή απλά ως Auto Chess, ενώ ο Valve, ο προγραμματιστής του Dota 2, ανέπτυξε τη δική του αυτόνομη έκδοση γνωστή ως Dota Underlords.
