05:00 - end How and where to place dimensions
In Autodesk Fusion 2D Sketch mode dimensions can be added to drawings to define lengths, angles, radii and diameters. Is it required? No it is not. If the only goal is to 3D print or to laser cut a design, dimensions are implicitly contained in the exported files (DXF or STL), it’s not required to add them in the Sketch drawings. In situations where a design may have to be modified later, fully constraining your geometry is highly advisable though, it keeps the topology intact and modifications are only possible by changing dimensions.
