We check out Satisfactory gameplay from the alpha test weekend that preceded the Satisfactory release date into early access on 19 March 2019. The game is 3D meets Factorio meets No Man's Sky.

In this first episode of let's play Satisfactory gameplay, we do a full tutorial-based playthrough of tier 0 that gets us building our first mines, smelters and constructors, allowing a basic conveyer belt system that means the game will automatically get iron ore and turn it into useful components.

We see how you explore an alien world to fight local creatures and discover nodes of resources, including iron ore, copper, limestone and vegetation that can be turned into biomass power in this let's play Satisfactory gameplay review.

NOTE: Footage here was recorded with untested gfx settings - the game itself ran quite smoothly but the footage I captured is choppy in parts. I sorted this out for ep 2.
