In this look at Astroneer Solar Arrays, we discover that there's a power source more powerful than the RTG - the crafted Solar Array, which is an extra-large mid-game power source that (surprisingly) doesn't need a platform to stand on. The only catch - it doesn't work at night, so you better have plenty of batteries.
We pitch it against the other sort of Astroneer Solar Arrays, the crashed solar array satellites that can be found rarely on a planet's surface, and can only be moved using a winch on your rover. So we take a trip in our large rover to find a crashed solar array, bringing it back to our base and plugging it in to find a fluctuating power source.
Also in this look at Astroneer Solar Arrays, we're running out of raw materials, we prepare for our potentially game-winning voyage to Novus, we combine our RTG & Large Rover to test whether you ever run out of power, and we take a final trip to Glacio with some dynamite and a tank of hydrazene for some... unfinished business.
