"I am Iron Man".

Ever since Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark uttered those iconic words in 2008, fans have been coming up with theories regarding his character.

They've ranged from theories that turned out to be true, such as the one that suggested it would be Stark who created Ultron in the MCU (and NOT Hank Pym, like it was in the comics), to crazy theories like the one that suggested Stark was the Soul Stone in human form - but they've all been interesting!

The latest theory is that Marvel Studios have been foreshadowing their flagship character's fate since 2016's Captain America: Civil War.

The idea comes from the fact that Stark's left arm has been injured in almost every appearance he's made in the MCU - and he's been nursing it as a permanent problem since Civil War.

What's particularly interesting about this is the fact that the Infinity Gauntlet is worn on the left hand - and Thanos' entire left arm was injured when he exectuted the Decimation at the end of Avengers: Infinity War.

So, could it be that this recurring arm injury of Stark's has been foreshadowing him using an Infinity Gauntlet of his own in the upcoming conflict? SOMEONE needs to reverse the Mad Titan's actions - and it seems logical that the MCU's flagship hero would be the one to do it.
