0Mario is back in another world-wind adventure! After attempting to stop Browser from kidnapping Princess Peach (for like the thousandth time) and taker her into marriage. In this all to familiar battle Mario ends up falling off Browser's ship and lands in Cap Kingdom. Are resilient plumber meets Cappy, one of several sentient hat-like creatures that inhabit it. Thus the two partner up to get back Princess Peach and Cappy's sister Tiara; who Browser has also taken.
Published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch, Super Mario Odyssey is a platform game in which players control the titular protagonist, Mario, as he travels across many worlds on the Odyssey. The game sees Mario traveling to various worlds known as "Kingdoms", which return to the free-roaming exploration-based level design featured in Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine, with each featuring unique designs ranging from photo-realistic cities to more fantasy-based worlds.
The game was released worldwide on October 27, 2017, and received universal acclaim from critics, with many calling it one of the best games in the series. Within three days of its release, the game had sold over two million copies worldwide.
