In this part, Sparrowson searches for Falcon, who has spent the entire weekend getting drunk at a low-class student tavern. Falcon is still upset over the results of the last trial.

Back at the offices, Flacon gets a new case! A mouse named Mousey asks our heroes to defend Prince Juan Querido of Spain, a fox who is being accused of attempting to murder the King of France. You see, one of the king's guards pricked his finger on Juan's rose and died almost instantly from poisoning.
