Avowed Gets Delayed Until Next Year - Fall is Too Crowded for Xbox Gamers!
4Obsidian Entertainment's upcoming Fantasy RPG Avowed has been officially delayed until next year.
Despite being originally slated for a late 2024 release, Xbox leadership decided to instead delay their upcoming Xbox Ecosystem Exclusive until February of next year, due to how crowded this fall would be with S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl getting bumped from September to November and with both Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 dropping during the Fall 2024 timeframe as well.
While it was originally rumored to be delayed, some refused to believe Avowed would get bumped. However, after confirmation - and explanation why it happened - many in the gaming community are satisfied with the situation...but not everyone is.
