Dark Samus is easily one of my favourite video game villains EVER. She was pure evil (she corrupted Rundas! That's enough of a sin already!) and her sinister laugh was creepy as hell. She's also a MAJOR BITCH on Hyper Mode- even harder than friggin MOGENAR in my opinion! MOGENAR! That laugh isn't the only bit of sound attributed to Dark Samus- she holds some of the best boss battle themes in existence! This video contains her battle themes from Metroid Prime 2 and 3, including Aurora Unit 313's battle themes.

Metroid Prime 2 Battle Theme: The one that started it all! This just OOZES the sensation of battling your evil clone to the death. It's just awesome.
Metroid Prime 3 Battle Theme: I don't know how, but they made it better. This battle theme just ROCKS. That opening riff just gives off such a sense of urgency- It's like "Ohhhhh crap, now I'm in for a rough battle..."
Aurora Unit 313: So, so underrated. This battle theme is just creepy. Those crash cymbals are so awesome... It sounds like the ultimate theme for the creepy, evil machine that is Aurora Unit 313. One of the most epic boss themes ever, in my opinion.
Aurora Unit 313 Head: Just when you though it was all over, THIS plays! Time's REALLY running out when this plays- There's no more health items and the head has MANY cheap attacks! Overall, this is easily one of the most frantic boss themes I've ever listened to... It's just CRAZY!
