The Season 18 update has "economic adjustments" to try to curb the ever growing supply of SLP which was causing prices to fall day after day. I review the update and go into why the game in the current form is likely a Ponzi scheme.

Why it is like a Ponzi Scheme:

1) players "make" money by playing in PVE or PVP and getting paid SLP currency. The SLP is minted out of thin air.
2) SLP is "burned" by players breeding Axies
3) If more players make SLP vs. SLP that is burned then the supply of SLP will increase. It has been increasing by 100M net coins per day. This will lead to SLP trending to $0 over time.
