you can adjust the TDP from emulationstation in the options menu, or in the home folder by clicking the script and selecting run as program.

This device is a powerful Ryzen 7840U chipset and can pull off most emulation scenarios at 15 watts, I only use 22 for high end gaming, and its max is currently 33 watts.
