The AYANEO Pocket Micro is a compact, Android-based handheld gaming device that combines retro aesthetics with a modern feel. Seemingly inspired by the Game Boy Micro, it features a sleek design with a 3.5-inch borderless IPS 3:2 display that is ideal for GBA, along with comfy hall-sensing joysticks. Powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 processor, it offers robust performance for emulating from Atari up through PS2, GameCube, Vita and Switch. The device is built with high-quality materials, including an anodized aluminum frame and a glass front that wraps around the controls, providing a premium look and feel.
Not everything is rainbows here however, while still an early unit, it has multiple software related concerns, and some other considerations like price that are discussed in today's video. Let's take a walk through the park and learn Stubbs' thoughts!
