Well, with Cell defeated, we're back in a safe time... right? Ah, incorrect. In fact, we're back on Earth and we're testing our strength against... the Supreme Kai?! Okay, canon is out of the window - Supreme Kai is here to prep us for our next fight. Honestly, it's quite fun to see the Dragon Ball story with little twists and turns the way Budokai 2 presented it. The PlayStation 2 and Nintendo GameCube fans playing this may be confused (as am I), but it's always interesting to see and hear these new designs and choices for the DBZ story, as well as the dialogue we get to hear. Personally, I'm glad they changed it up from Budokai 1 otherwise it would've been the same thing again, and that'd be no fun! The changes in story and the board game mechanics are things I personally enjoy, but I know it's quite a divisive implementation for many DBZ enjoyers.
So we're fighting the Supreme Kai - big deal. Well, he's testing our strength for our next opponent... Majin Buu. Babidi and Dabura have brought Buu's cocoon for revival, and have recruited some henchmen to help. Vegeta becomes Majin Vegeta but we also have... Majin Frieza and Majin Cell?! I am terrified. Let's see how this episode goes!
