Majin Buu has been stopped... or so we thought? Not only is Babidi back with Cell, Frieza AND Vegeta in tow, his plan to revive Majin Buu is well and truly on track. Honestly, I'm glad this isn't the way it went in the actual Dragon Ball storyline, otherwise I don't think Goku and the team could've won LOL. It's awesome seeing how the DBZ story is presented in Budokai 2 with these little twists and turns. It might be a little more confusing if you know the actual anime and manga continuation, but the PlayStation 2 and Nintendo GameCube fans playing through this should appreciate these new design choices for the DBZ story in my opinion, as well as the dialogue we get to hear. Personally, I'm glad they changed it up from Budokai 1 otherwise it would've been the same thing again, and that'd be no fun! The changes in story and the board game mechanics are things I personally enjoy, but I know it's quite a divisive implementation for many DBZ enjoyers.
So we're fighting Majin Vegeta, Perfect Form Cell, Final Form Frieza and Babidi once again. With the revival of Buu imminent, I'm not sure this is a challenge we can complete. Let's see how this episode goes!
