Did you ever try to play classical midi on an OPL2/3 soundcard? Welcome to 1994-1996 for me...
You'll have wished you hadn't - or I hadn't. For educational purposes only, not for torture of those around you. RegressionFM version 1LX nicely emulates fm-synth from inside the DSP of the PCI soundblaster live. This is not the built in horrable fm emulation but one i've spent over four years tweaking... I know it's not perfect - but it just might be one day with your help. Im trying to do this with little or no direct dubbing of existing fm chips (thats right, reforming those fm beauties on-the-fly, the DSP can!!!). Just remember, as much as some ppl hate classical, this wonderful music still has a right & place to be in this world.
Still interested? Check other vids, or download regression fm for soundblaster (ONLY) soundcards http://www.mediafire.com/?ointrmv1wu0
