Back in my days - Episode 1 - Alley Cat for IBM PC
6This is the very first episode in my new series besides the recent pickups videos called "Back in my days". The purpose of this series is to talk about and show games I played during my childhood.
First game out is Alley Cat. Made by Bill Williams and John Harris and released on Atari 8-bit in 1983 and on the IBM PC in 1984. It´s a game where you play as a cat trying to reach you female cat and kiss her. It is basically a lot of mini-games with CGA (4 colors) graphics.
I have lots of great memories from this game playing it on my friends IBM 286 PC (his father worked at IBM at that time if I remember correctly). It was one of my first experience of playing on a PC other than games like Space Invaders etc. I was in primary school at that time and I think the year was 1986-1987 or around that time area.
