We take a detour to save some creatures from industrial sludge, then kill those creatures because it turns out they're aggressive and dangerous. Somehow I feel like that could be a metaphor or something, but anyway, too busy dealing with a gate guarding Claptrap to think about that right now. Or ever.

Telling the story of the rise or fall (up to interpretation) of Handsome Jack and his compatriots from Borderlands 2, the game introduces 4 new Vault Hunters, including a beloved(?) mascot taking a step into the limelight, for another round of off-the-wall looter shooter fun.
