Metal Gear Rising: Revengance is the current last game in the Metal Gear timeline. Released in 2013, MGRR is a collaboration between Kojima Productions and Platinum Games, mixing a politically inspired narrative with high-octane character action gameplay. Praised for its deep but approachable gameplay and incredible soundtrack, Metal Gear Rising had a resurgence into the public consciousness in a way not dissimilar to Metal Gear Solid 2, as each game began to feel prophetic in our ever changing world.
